This has been on my mind for sometime about the characters of Monsuno. Here's what I think.
Arcana: The Fool
Reason: The main protagonist always has the Fool. The Fool is suppose to be infinate possibilities. That's something even Chase has. Being a Battler and a user of Monsuno Sight and having Lock as the Lynch Pin, I think that pretty much proves my point.
Arcana: The Magician
Reason: It's traditional that the protagonist's first male friend has this Arcana. Like the Arcana, Bren can be very be self-confident at times and has power in mind.
Reason: Jinja has a strong sense of justice and fairness and has a strong will. Enough said.
Reason: Even though he is male, the Priestess Arcana is right for Beyal. He is s…

Velvet Room has been an iconic set in the Persona series; It has played a huge role in the main story of story of each of the character in the series. In each of the series there exist different residence, but Igor stays the same in all of the series. Igor explained that Velvet Room is a room ". . .between dream and reality, mind and matter. . ." as quoted from the Persona 4. Persona 4 is the first of the persona series that I've played and has changed my viewpoint of an RPG game forever. In that series, Velvet Room wasn't explained in-depth, different from the first, second, and third Persona series where the residence has a clear and strong relation to the main protagonist's story ( e.g: Philemon and his servants and Elizabeth's side sto…Read more >

Mainy like, what kind of people would the characters would be, what would their Personas and Arcana be, or what the main part of the story would be. I have a few things say myself, but I'll wait until you ask. For now, I would like to hear what you would think.

Shadow Naoto represents the reversed Fortune Arcana. The reversed Fortune indicates mounting misfortune and a feeling that everything possible is going wrong. It also reflects one who is egotistical. Naoto's feelings of misfortune partially reflect the case (new twists eliminating plausible theories, one after another), but are mostly stemming from her growing frustration at being treated like a child. The less she feels she is taken seriously, the more she becomes obsessed with the case and the more she tries to prove her competence, which only leads to her being taken even less seriously. She denies she is, in fact, still a child (causing the Shadow to wobble between childish immaturity and rash, impassioned accusations of Na…Read more >

In the same manner as the other Shadows, Shadow Rise represents the reverse of her counterpart's arcana, namely the Lovers. The reversed Lovers represent false love, emotional loss, being unable to forget the past, and feeling helpless. False love is clearly shown through the idea of a stripper, exposing herself trying to make others love, but others only love what they see. Emotional loss stems from Rise quitting the showbiz career; though she hides it, she secretly misses the attention.
Furthermore Rise feels that she is haunted by her past of fame, being unable to escape from it, and believing that she will never be able to live a normal life. Shadow Rise's ability to use scan at…Read more >

Shadow Yosuke appears as an animated frog with a whimsical body on top, an allusion of a proverb "frog in the well". Yosuke's Shadow represents his animosity toward living in a confined country town, as well as his wish for something of interest to happen. Shadow Yosuke, like the rest of the shadows to come, represents the reverse of his Arcana, the Magician. The reversed Magician represents one with power, but who is cruel and misuses that power. Shadow Yosuke has the power of insight into Yosuke's motives, but uses t…Read more >

Atlas released an exciting new trailer for Persona 5, the latest entry in the popular Persona series. So far, players have only seen teaser images of the game, including the Protagonist. But this time around, we get a glimpse of the game in action, as well as some new party members!
Take a peek at the new trailer below, as we break down some of the new details! Let us know what you think of the new trailer in the comments!
- The trailer reveals a bit more of the setting, which looks to be set near the Tokyo Bay region

When YHVH rose to power, many gods were turned into demons (this was mentioned by Echidna in Shin Megami Tensei). However, some gods and spirits from outside Judeo-Christian belief decided to serve YHVH, perhaps in fear of his power or of being turned into a demon, or perhaps because they somehow share opinions with him. But let's say YHVH is finally toppled and defeated for good, or at least a long-term period, what about the gods and spirits who once served him? What would they do afterwards, or what would become of them? GalaxiaWild (talk) 10:08, August 29, 2014 (UTC)Read more >
First off I would like to apologize for my crypticness in "They cannot get away" its a long story. Well apparently Persona Q has been confirmed cannon and apparently P4AU is supposed to "wrap up" the P3/P4 story arc. Now I have a vey DEEP history with Persona that I will only get to if people ask me to. But people I know most dont even read blogs on this wiki but I need your input. Is this truely going to be the last of the P4/P3 games and we will move on with a fresh future with P5. Or is it simply goodbye for now and it will return for one last REAL Persona game sometime after Persona 5 comes out. I really want to hear peoples thoughts on this because I have recently felt I am the only one with an opinion on this subject.Read more >

In the order when they appeared:
Weapon: Hand gun
Arcana: The Hierophant
Shadow: Mitch Kellaway has been chasing the Mask for three years and has never cought him. He starts to question his place as a cop trying to live up to his family's good name. But now he's become the 'bladk sheep' of the family, especially to his mother. He is a dissappiontment. This causes his Shadow to appear. His Shadow is wearing nothing but a red loaing cloth with a black pattern and matching wrist bands that reach up to his elbows. He reveals that Kellaway never wanted to be a cop in the first …

If I had to be frank, I'm not really interested on the 3DS as a console, but the allure of SMT games that are being released on it, like the DeSU2 expansion port, Soul Hackers being localized for once, SMTIV and probably EOIV and EO:TMG pretty much entinced me to get one.

It's been a week since Persona 4 Golden's release, and so far the reviews for the game have been extremely positive, scoring a 95 average on metacritic.com. If you're still wondering whether or not to buy the Golden edition rather than the regular edition, here's a list of five things you definitely need to know about the Persona 4 Golden edition.
The Golden Edition includes two extra social links, Marie and Adachi. Marie is an assistant of the Velvet Room. She will help the Protagonist with creating his player card for the game's online features and is responsible for the player's skill cards. Befriending Marie will help the Protagonist realize the potential of the Aeon Arcana, eventually enabling him to summon the Persona Kaguya. The second…

Persona 4: Golden is a remake of Persona 4 for the Playstation Vita handheld console. The game has expanded from the original Playstation 2 release, adding new features and story elements to the game. A new character, Marie, has been added into the story. Additional Personas, character outfits, and new Social Links have been included. The game supports the wireless networking features of the Vita, and allows for players to call for help to other players in dungeon battles.
The game is out and the verdict is in! Persona 4 Golden vastly improves the already great formula of Persona 4, and is a worthy addition to any Vita collection. To those who have picked the game up, what are your thoughts? Is the remake all that it's cracked up to be?

I have recently obtained a copy of Naoto Shirogane's spinoff novel, Persona x Detective Naoto, and it has a bunch of awesome artwork that isn't yet on this wiki (and I can't find it anywhere else on the internet). If anyone would like me to scan and upload them, I'd be more than happy to!
There also isn't that much plot information anywhere on the internet either, which makes me sad. I'm a huge Naoto fan, so I'm dying to see where her story goes :3
However, I can only read the Japanese hiragana. I'm hoping someone will translate it soon. I'd be willing to provide all the scans a…Read more >
Compared to other game titles, The Shin Megami Tensei franchise has a very different way of naming spells. Rather than use something generic like "fire" or "lightning", the creators name spells after mythological deities and references.

There's a demon called Yama and a race that's known as Yama in Japanese. This causes problems.
Ways of fixing this would be to rename the Yama Demon page to something like Yama_(demon) and have the Yama page automatically redirect to the Night Race page. One would of course need change all the pages that already link to Yama Demon page to keep the links working. Can one check to see exactly what pages do link to a particular page? Is there a way to automate the whole renaming process perhaps? Maybe a disambiguation page ought to be put in place for starters? On the other hand, there are only two articles that cause confusion and one already notes the issue in the opening header. Oh, what to do....
If anyone is actually able to see this then …Read more >

While Persona 2 consists of two chapters, Persona 2: Innocent Sin and Persona 2: Eternal Punishment, the original PlayStation version of the first one was never published outside Japan, despite the two being two chapters of the same storyline. The first Megami Tensei game I've ever played was Persona 3, after that I was hooked.
