Goetia (from the Greek Goeteia, meaning "sorcery") is the invocation of angels or demons. The term is usually used in the context of lists of demons, particularly the 72 demons of the Ars Goetia found in the 17th-century Lesser Key of Solomon. Although the Goetia and the Lesser Key of Solomon have yet to be directly featured in a Megami Tensei game, they are referenced in several games' compendiums. Many of the demons in the Ars Goetia were also featured in the heavily related work, the Dictionnaire Infernal, the ranks of which are also listed here for the sake of simplicity.

In-game, most of them belong to the Fallen clan.
