Appearances[]
- Persona 3 / FES / Portable
- Persona 4 / Golden

- Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth
Profile[]
Persona 3[]
A group of three Fierce Cyclopses guard the way forward on the 244th floor of Tartarus. They block all ailments. After they are defeated, the Judgment Social Link increases to Rank 8. Fierce Cyclops also reappears as a normal enemy in the Adamah Block of Tartarus, between floors 237 to 261. This is the only sub-boss that appears as normal enemy below the floor it guards.
The Cyclops battle can prove to be tricky as they take miniscule amounts of damage from Slash, Strike, and Fire attacks, on top of nullifying Elec attacks. This leaves Yukari, Mitsuru, Aigis, and Ken as viable damage dealers during the fight, and they can deal out a lot of physical damage with their skills.
Taking Abaddon as a Persona eliminates most of the threat from these guardians, provided it is at least level 73. A Bow, Spear, or the Sabazios weapon will also help deal damage to them normally. Once the enemy reaches 20% of its max HP (340), it has an even chance of using either Mazionga or Last Resort with every turn. As such, prioritize the Cyclops with the lowest HP.
Persona 4 / Golden[]
Fierce Cyclops appears on B7F and B8F of the Secret Laboratory within the Midnight Channel. When defeated, it may drop Hard Thorn. Selling ten Hard Thorns at Daidara Metalworks will unlock the Guard Rosary accessory in the shop.
In Golden, Fierce Cyclops appears on B5F through B8F. Selling six Hard Thorns is enough to unlock the Guard Rosary in the shop. It may also drop Meteorite for trade at Shiroku Pub.
Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth[]
Fierce Cyclops appears in Nights 2 through 4 of the Inaba Pride Exhibit. It can take attacks in the place of allies with Life Wall and decrease the party's defense with Marakunda. When defeated, it may drop Hanged Piece, Hanged Cuffs, and Hanged Thorn. Hanged Piece is used to create the Dragon Fangs for Akihiko and the Sonic Claw for Teddie. Hanged Cuffs is used to create the Hard Armor male armor and the Dark Dog-Suit for Koromaru. Hanged Thorn, only obtainable by killing Fierce Cyclops while Magic Bound, is required for the request "Let's Make Zen a Collar!" which rewards the Handmade Collar accessory for Zen upon completion. Hanged Thorn is also used to create the Mint Dog-Suit for Koromaru.
Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth[]
Fierce Cyclops appears on Lab Floor 1 of the third Theater, A.I.G.I.S. When defeated, it may drop Cyclops Core and Cyclops Eye. Cyclops Core is used to create the Superconductor for the P5 hero, the Bishamonten* for Chie, the En-Giri for Koromaru and Yosuke, and the Capital Robe female armor. Cyclops Eye is used to create the Killing Scalpel for the P5 hero, the Megaton Hammer for Shinjiro, the Carbon Railgun for Aigis, the Shigetou-yumi for Yukari, the Suzumushi for Yukiko, and the Doumaru male armor.
