Dobiel is the Guardian Angel of Babylonia, Persia, and second-in-command to the angel Gabriel. Dobiel is the angel who replaced Gabriel during his twenty-one day banishment from the Divine Presence.

Dobiel guards the key that accesses the gate to the Flame Apostle's Castle. Akira challenges him to obtain the key and kills him. After beating the game Dobiel will be revived and found in a hut in Soorufiyoru.
