The heroine is the leader of the underground Resistance movement that is intent on stopping the machinations of Gotou. She is destined to be with the protagonist, who is the destined New Adam. She is implied to be the reincarnation of Eve. She is a strong woman with incredible spiritual powers. She saves the protagonist, Law Hero and Chaos Hero from death when the ICBMs destroy Japan by teleporting them to the Diamond Realm. She is then killed in the Great Cataclysm.
She is later reincarnated as a young woman who remembers nothing but her connection to the protagonist. After arriving in Tokyo 30 years after the Great Cataclysm, the protagonist discovers that she has been imprisoned in Shibuya and the demon Arachne has invaded her mind. After defeating Ozawa and rescuing the Soul Diver, the protagonist and Law Hero make their way through the heroine's mind and destroy Arachne. Grateful, the heroine joins the protagonist's group and accompanies him throughout the rest of his journey, regardless of his alignment.
She's given the name Aoi in Shin Megami Tensei Final Story: Atlus Official Replay Novel, Maki Takahara in Crimson Night: Shin Megami Tensei II TRPG Genesis Jumpstart Kit, Yuka in Shin Megami Tensei Character Profile: Steven Report I and Futsuko in Kazuma Kaneko Complete Illustration Works. She's implied to be the reincarnation of Eve.
