Varaha is a demon in the series.

History

Varaha is one of Vishnu's avatars. It is listed as the third one in the Dashavatara and it is represented as a boar or as a human with a boar's head.

Vishnu transformed into Varaha to rescue goddess Budhevi (the Earth) from the daitya Hiranyaksha. He succeeded in slaying the daitya and lifted Budhevi in his tusks to return her to its original place in the universe.
