I've wanted to know for a while now, primarily because Belobog's article was changed to Whiskers. Belobog actually debuted before his alias as Whisker in Shin Megami Tensei II. I want to correct Belobog's article namiing. GalaxiaWild 16:02, July 21, 2010 (UTC)

You can use the Move button at the top of the article to change the name of a page.

If you're wondering why the article name was changed, it was to match the official english name (with it's only english appearance being in 'DemiKids', as 'Whiskers'). The Manual of Style on the wiki asks for english names to be used first, and only Japanese names if there are no english ones.

To quote the Manual of Style: New articles should be named according to the subject's official English term in all cases, even in the case of multiple character names, except when there is no official English term which will then be substituted with the romanized version of the official Japanese term. Example: "Kotowari" should be "Reason". "Kagenuki" should not be "Shadow Extractions" or "Shadow Pulling".--Pinkgriffon 16:11, July 21, 2010 (UTC)

Actually in this case I agree with GalaxiaWind. While the other translations, like Nocturne, are fairly professional DemiKids had a very amateur localization team and some of their renames are too liberal and are based with a superficial aspect of the demon.
We have that rule to assume that the translation in the first place is true to the Japanese translation but the DemiKids' one, is not. « Zahlzeit 15:15, September 19, 2012 (UTC)
