There seems to be no policy or guideline to govern the usage of italic font for non-work section title in this wiki (for example "As a boss" in the demon stat section). If you know me you know that I'm a devoted supporter of Wikipedia's Inpursuit (talk) 02:08, July 26, 2013 (UTC), which means italic font is used sparingly unless it follows the publishing standard. So is such usage encouraged? --
- To be honest I only skimmed through that but it seems to fit with what I believe italics should be used too. However, "As a boss" seems fine to me. In the theoretical situation that a demon's stats are organized under a title, under a specific form, and then identified as a boss or a player demon, I can't think of a better way to organize it as such.
- For example to throw out a random example, say if there was a demon called Mega Jack. His stat tables are organized as Shin Megami Tensei: Mega -> Mega Red Jack -> As a boss. Then the same for his player demon appearance, and then the same for Mega Blue Jack. The title of the game is in Header 3 format with italics, the form is in Header 4 format without italics, enemy/player identification is in orthodox formatting but with italics. I think this makes it more organized and easier to read than if there were no italics. « Zahlzeit 06:33, July 26, 2013 (UTC)
