Just a "note to self" thread for correct Japanese romanization (romaji) usage in article. This is entirely based on modified Hepburn romanization which is currently used by Wikipedia and Google Translate. TBH, most of the time it's safe to just use the romaji transcribed by Google Translate (by enabling the "read phonetically" function) because it can correctly distinguish verb (which should not use macron vowel ō and ū and preserve the "u" at the end) and loanword (only instance that macron vowel ī is applicable) from other form. -- Inpursuit (talk) 04:06, December 5, 2013 (UTC)
