This would be a good idea. Imagine the first Devil Summoner Megami Tensei, all 3 Majin Tensei games, the 4 old Shin Megami Tensei games(SMT,SMT 2,SMT if,SMT NINE),all Last Bible games, all Devil Children games and Giten Megami Tensei: Tokyo Mokushiroku (A PC visual novel/RPG Megami Tensei game) got remakes to get a American and overseas release. Also one more thing,The 2 first oldest Megami Tensei games(Digital Devil Story Megami Tensei 1 and 2). —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kaynedenny (talk • contribs) on . - well yeah, of course that would be awesome. what they really need to do, at the very least, is take the gba remakes of SMT, SMT2, and SMTif and package them all together on a single 3ds cartridge, call it "Shin Megami Tensei: Origins" or something. bonus if they throw KMT on there as well. then they should do the same for the other branches of the Megaten franchise, remaking Majin Tensei and Majin Tensei 2 for selling on a single cartridge (maybe Ronde too if they completely remake that horrid thing), ditto for the whole Last Bible series, etc. the likelihood of this happening is slim to impossible though, i mean, we don't even know if they're going to localize the iOS port of the SMT2 remake, to follow up with the official release of SMT we got a few years back, so them remaking and localizing anything that isn't brand new or super popular is something that will probably never happen. hell, we couldn't even get the far-superior psp remake of Eternal Punishment localized and are having to rely on a fan translation which who knows how long thats going to take (and even then they're just pasting in the script of the ps1 version with minor fixes, like fixing the names to what they should be instead of to be consistent with Revelations). fan translations or learning japanese are pretty much your only hope if you want to play the older games.
