It's rather confusing, although I'm sure that there are plenty of historical and underlying theological reasons for this.
But still, does anyone know why? Mask no Oni 05:14, December 21, 2011 (UTC)

The majority of them is Chaotic Good anyway.. Why? Buddhist pantheon is one of the pantheon that go more against Cristianity and neither have so many similiar legends (like Hindu and Cristian). You can just think that Chaotic Good means they go against YHVH but they're kind, good or similiar persons HakuNoKaemi 21:44, December 22, 2011 (UTC)
I honestly don't really know. I mean, I'm certain there is a great amount of bad things Buddhism has done in Asia, although I don't know what to be honest. I'm also not well versed in the religion's teachings either, other than knowing that they practice meditative and certain beliefs in order to understand what causes suffering and attempt to transcend to Nirvana. That sounds awfully shallow of me, but I'm being straightforward.
Just explanations and correlations would be just fine.
I think that it mostly has to do with the fact that most of the dietys in budissem where once evil but where made good once more by Budda. It might refer to the fact they used to be evil. Just speculation.
