Forums: Index > The Cathedral > Table hover effect

Just a minor visual enhancement via css which requires sysop right to modify the Mediawiki:Common.css. As tested in my own User:Inpursuit/common.css, by adding .highlight:hover {background:#fa5}, any HTML object called the "highlight" class will have background color changed when you hover your mouse on the target object. In table row which called the "table" class, this effect is subtler because the table header and table data cells already have background color predefined, resulting the new background color sneaks through the cutout rounded corner of the cells. You can copy the hovering class code to your personal common.css and then purge this page to see the hovering effect in the sample table below. The hover class must be defined in the css page for use in other articles. -- Inpursuit (talk) 14:08, July 22, 2015 (UTC)
