Something about Namatme's (P4/Ani/G) storyline doesn't make sense. In the Persona 4 series it is stated that the reason the Protagonist and Adachi could summon their Personas without having to face their Shadows first is that they were given the power by Izanami upon ariving in town and, according to P4A, Shadows and Personas are one and the same and therefore cannot exist at the same time. Izanagi also gave this power to Namatame yet when he entered the Midnight Channel his Shadow not only appeared, but actually possesd him. If he had the power of persona that shouldn't have happened, right?

- The Golden retcons it so that the thing that "possessed" Namatame was Kunino-sagiri, who is a separate entity, part of the Izanami collective, and not just Namatame fused with a bunch of Shadows like it was in the original game. As for "people with Personas can't have Shadows", well, the jury is still out on that. Even with just the P4 stuff there are conflicting sources (for example, in the anime, Narukami actually faces Shadow Narukami during the True Ending. I know the anime isn't canon, but I am just illustrating that even the P4 stuff can't get it straight)--Otherarrow (talk) 23:45, December 7, 2012 (UTC)
