Biography

Gouto-Douji is the reincarnation of Raidou Kuzunoha the First in the form of a cat, aiding Raidou Kuzunoha the XIV in the Devil Summoner series. He first appears in Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army as somewhat a mentor to the new heir of the Kuzunoha Clan, often giving out advices in aiding Raidou's investigations. In several occasions, Gouto may also loan Raidou money to pay up the travel fees should he ran out of money. However, Gouto will automatically retake the same amount of money once Raidou accumulates enough money to pay back Gouto.

Gouto is confirmed to return in the sequel, Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon, retaining his role. While visiting Shin Sekai, a patron comments that Gouto is a title rather than a name.
