Hee-ho-kun is a recurring Jack Frost in the series.

Appearances[]

Profile[]

Shin Megami Tensei: if...[]

After Karukozaka High School is transported to the Expanse, demons roam the hallways among the frightened students. The protagonist encounters one of these demons, a friendly Jack Frost. This particular Jack Frost is known as "Hee-ho-kun" and he seems to have acquired a school uniform from somewhere. He states that he loves attending school and can't help using "Hee-Ho" in his speech, despite knowing normal human students should not do so, and then he offers to join the protagonist's party.

Once joined, he will appear as a regular Jack Frost, and joins the party while ignoring the protagonist's level.

Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne[]

Heeho (Hee-ho-kun in the Japanese release) is the owner of the first Junk Shop the Demi-fiend has access to, located in Shibuya. He wants to go on a journey to become strong "like the king" but needs money to do so. He manages to do so and sells his shop to the Junk Shop Manikin. He is later seen at the entrance of Mantra Army Headquarters in Ikebukuro, intending to join but too shy to enter the building. Also, because the entrance of the Headquarters has pillars of fire near to it, he decides to go somewhere else. He also appears in the illusionary part of the Kabukicho Prison, possibly looking for Magatsuhi, where he comments on how scary the place is.

After the Demi-fiend has defeated Mizuchi, and after Chiaki inherits Gozu-Tennoh's power, Hee-ho-kun transforms into Black Frost after ingesting the Satan Magatama, taking over the Kabukicho prison and commanding many Jack Frosts, clearly happy to finally be strong and calling himself the "Emperor of Kabukicho." He challenges the Demi-fiend in order to test his new powers but is defeated, reverting to Jack Frost and melting, leaving the Satan Magatama behind.

Hee-ho-kun, as Black Frost, is later found in the Third Kalpa in the Labyrinth of Amala where he will join the party as he believes being around a strong demon will make him stronger. If there is no space available, he'll be waiting in the room he's located in and can be talked to at any time to join. If the Demi-fiend already has a Black Frost, he'll leave the place permanently without joining.

Megami Ibunroku Persona[]

Hee-ho-kun appears alongside his girlfriend Hee-ho-chan in Class 1-1 of St. Hermelin High School after it is frozen over by the Snow Queen, having originally come from the Devil's Peak. They express fondness for the school's cold atmosphere, but argue over whether or not they will make friends with the human students.

After completing the three towers, the party finds Hee-ho-kun twice more within the Ice Castle, where he will trade Ambrosia for the totems needed to summon the Ultimate Personas, and later allows them to progress.

Because most of the Snow Queen Quest was removed in Revelations: Persona (the localized version of Megami Ibunroku Persona), Hee-ho-kun and Hee-ho-chan were removed from the game but the quest was restored in the remastered version of the game for all versions. In the English localization, Hee-ho-kun was localized as Raiho and Hee-ho-chan was localized as Reiho.
