K has lost his right eye and left arm, so he wears an eye patch and a prosthetic arm of scissors.
A friendly man who is humble when speaking to the prentices. Like the Samurai, he doesn't like Hugo or the Monastery's attempt to control everything.
K is a retired Samurai who resigned and runs the tavern named after him inside Mikado Castle. The day after the prentice Samurai's first mission they are instructed to go to his tavern. He wishes to teach them the best ways to enjoy the work of being a samurai, and shows them the blackboard which contains Challenge Quests for them to partake in alongside their official missions.
He was originally the Samurai's Commander until he lost his eye and arm in honorable combat. He mentions his eye and arm throb whenever he hears the word Domain and mentions he lost them before Flynn was born. Back when he lead the Samurai he was feared as their leader and instructor, but has since softened with time and is much more warmhearted compared to then, to the point that some considered K a demon rather than the ones commonly found in Naraku when he lead them. His name K comes from him being the man to inherit the Tavern after J.
K was the last Samurai before the prentices to receive the Third Order of Merit for his duties. He once sought to date Gabby when he was young, but knew she was out of his leagues.
On the Chaos route he realizes what is going on outside his bar and sees the irony of a Samurai ending the kingdom another Samurai founded. He admits that he believed such a day would eventually come and is thankful that it happened in his lifetime.
On the Law route, K knows that Flynn has become a warrior of light and starts referring to him as such after the moment where Jonathan fuses with Michael, Gabriel, Uriel, and Raphael to form Merkabah.
On the Neutral path he awaits Flynn in Shinjuku's Cafe Florida. He expresses relief that everyone made it. He then muses on how Tokyo was made out to be a terrible place, but declares it "not so bad" while also stating that he feels a strong sense of nostalgia at being in the city.
- K's appearance is based on the actor Kurt Russell in the role "Escape From New York".
