Light spells carry the Light element, the polar opposite of the element Darkness.

Hama is the general spell for the Light element in the series. In the Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner series, Hama spells become HP dividing attacks rather than fatal. Human form (even in Berserk mode) has the immunity against Hama spells inherently. Hama is the exorcism concept in Shintoism.

  • Seraphic Lore is a reference to the celestial beings of that order.
