Nemean Beast is a Shadow in the Persona series.

History

The Nemean lion was a monster in Greek mythology, killed by Heracles as his first labor. Because its golden fur was impervious to attack, it could not be killed by mortals' weapons. In one reading, the lion was purported to be the offspring of Orthrus, raised by Hera, and sent to terrorize the hills of Nemea. In another interpretation, he was the offspring of Typhon.

Persona 4 / Golden

Nemean Beast appears in the first World of Magatsu Mandala within the Midnight Channel. When defeated, it may drop Platinum Fur. Selling ten Platinum Furs at Daidara Metalworks will unlock the Sigma Drive accessory in the shop. It may also drop Rainbow Quartz for trade at Shiroku Pub.
