Ptolomea is the fifth door in the Abyss of Time in Persona 3 FES. It has the same floor design that the first floors of Malebolge, resembling a normal building with cream colored walls, for the first seven floors. From floors nine to sixteen, Ptolomea resembles a fancy and elegant building, with a light palette of colors. The last seven floors have purple walls with giant gemstones set in. At the 25th floor, there is a door into Mitsuru Kirijo's past.
In Inferno, the first cantica of Dante's Divine Comedy, Cocytus is the ninth and lowest circle of Hell and is divided into four descending "rounds," or sections.Ptolomea is the third of those sections, named after Ptolemy, governor of Jericho, who murdered his guests (1 Maccabees).This is the section where traitors to guests are frozen forever in the waters of the lake that is Cocytus. Here it is said that sometimes the soul of a traitor falls to Hell before Atropos cuts the thread, and their body is taken over by a fiend.
