Sleeping Table appears as the second sub-boss found in the Tziah Block within Tartarus on floor 135. It blocks all ailments. It later reappears as a normal enemy on floors 1 through 7 in Empyrean during The Answer.
In Persona 3, the Sleeping Table is steeply more difficult than previous bosses due to its high damage potential and defense. Get rid of Fear as soon as you see it using Me Patra, because it will proceed to instantly kill anyone affected with Ghastly Wail. Since there is no way to resist Megidola your best bet is to keep your HP topped off with your best healing spells and your party reinforced with buffs and debuffs.
Junpei is a better choice for the fight than Koromaru since, while he lacks Koromaru's immunity to Fire, he is not weak to the Sleeping Table's Hamaon and can aid survival with Marakukaja if he's at least Level 44. The Table's sheer physical resistance would mean that his attacks would amount to chip damage at best, though. Yukari at level 43 or higher will have Mediarama to keep the party healthy and can cure Fear with Me Patra, while Akihiko should maintain a Tarunda on it at all times. If you're playing on Portable, Ken gets early access to Mediarama at level 37 and is also resistant to getting randomly killed by Hamaon.
Sleeping Table can be Knocked Down by Critical hits, so bringing a Persona with Revolution can potentially trivialize the battle, as a full All-Out Attack can take its HP down by as much as a third.
Reload[]
The Shadow is now renamed as the "Terminal Table" and is now a high-agility shadow that prioritizes using Expel-Bless skills. It will always start by using Hamaon and follow up with Masukunda and Mahama. The instant kill attacks are virtually impossible to avoid during this stage of the game, so be prepared with Homunculus items and Endure-type skills.
It will later appear as a sub-boss on the 6th Path of Yomotsu Hirasaka. It impedes the party's progress and must be fought to proceed. The boss variant of the Sleeping Table possesses the ability to inflict Fear on the entire party with Evil Smile and will follow up with Ghastly Wail to kill those that are affected. It will also attack with Maragidyne or use Mahamaon to potentially kill multiple party members instantly.
Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth[]
Sleeping Table appears in Chapter 2 of You in Wonderland. It attacks with light Wind skills and may put the party to Sleep. When defeated, it may drop Table Piece, Table Leg, and Table Silverware. Table Piece is used to create the Falcata for the P3 hero, and the Culverin for Naoto. Table Leg is used to create the Blitz Kunai for Koromaru and Yosuke.
