Relation to opening song[]
Is there any sort of official or citable relationship between Life Will Change and Wake Up, Get Up, Get Out There? These songs are obviously related to each other in some way.
My interpretation is that:
- Both songs are sung from the point of view of the same party.
- Wake Up, Get Up, Get Out There is a call to action. It is sung to other like-minded people hurt by the ills of society.
- The formation of the Phantom Thieves can be interpreted as the answer to that call.
- Life Will Change takes place afterwards. It is now sung by the Phantom Thieves, to the villains. I would describe it as a calling card in lyrical form.
