All those Messiah's, including Jesus, are the same. You can add Buddha to that list as well. In fact, Buddha's stories parallel Jesus Christ's and are far older than Christ's.

This page lists a number of Messiah figures "similar to Jesus" which in actuality, are not similar. While Buddha is notable as a savior figure the rest of the figures listed are not. Whoever wrote this probably saw a movie called Zeitgeist which was around a few years ago and misleadingly portrayed Christianity as some kind of pagan hybrid religion. This list reads as if it is taken straight out of the movie and should be removed as it is not correct. If anyone wants to try and prove the relation of the Messiah character to any of the listed characters, be my guest. For now I changed it to something more general. Anon 02:18, June 17, 2013 (UTC)
