"7 days after its birth, a wolf killed its mother. Yoshizane Satomi later promised his daughter's hand if it could defeat his enemy, but after Yatsufusa's success, Yoshizane's retainer shot it dead."
The figure of Yatsufusa is from the epic novel Nansō Satomi Hakkenden by Kyokutei Bakin. In the novel, Lord Satomi jokingly promises his daughter Fusehime's hand in marriage to a dog, Yatsufusa, if the animal can defeat his enemy, Lord Anzai. To his surprise, Yatsufusa returns with Lord Anzai's head. Lord Satomi does not wish to fulfill his promise to Yatsufusa, but Fusehime leaves with the dog anyway.
One year later, Fusehime learns through a vision that she is carrying Yatsufusa's offspring. A warrior of the Satomi clan comes to rescue Fusehime by defeating Yatsufusa, but shoots them both by accident. When Fusehime dies, the eight beads of her necklace come apart and fly away on the wind. The eight beads represent the eight virtues of Confucianism and reincarnate into eight protagonists of the story.
One of Margaret's Social Link requests regarding fusing Personas requires you to create a Yatsufusa that has inherited the skill Mediarama. This can be done simply by raising Thoth to level 47 before fusing it to create Yatsufusa. An alternative is to create a Narasimha with Mediarama by fusing Alraune and Triglav, then using this Narasimha in the Pentagon Fusion.
