Yuka Ayase is a character in the Persona series.
Appearances
- Megami Ibunroku Persona: Playable Character
Design
Her appearance resembles that of a kogal.
Personality
She is a kogal whose outward cheerfulness makes her popular with the guys. However, her penchant for lying and being glaringly frank at times gets her into a lot of trouble.
Profile
Megami Ibunroku Persona
Hidehiko Uesugi introduced the game "Persona" to the rest of their classmates. Yuka has played it before and was counting on Hidehiko to win the bet against Masao Inaba to get a free meal at Peace Diner, but no one was prepared to see the image of the crying young girl that appeared after the summoning ritual.
Since she wasn't hit by lightning, Yuka does not follow the group to the hospital and instead opts to hang around in school. She is only seen again when the group brings Maki Sonomura's injured mother from the Araya Shrine to the school infirmary, tasked to cover the hole in the wall in the room leading to the gym.
At the SEBEC route, Yuka can join the party as one of the optional fifth party members. Somehow, Yuka was able to escape before the school disappeared and hid herself at the outskirts of the Abandoned Factory. If the protagonist does not allow her to join, Yuka's awakening to her Persona was never shown.
In the Snow Queen Quest, Yuka is one of the permanent members of the party.
In Revelations: Persona, her name was changed to Alana, and her kogalgo was converted to valley girl slang. Her name was changed back to Yuka in the PSP remake.
